Hi Krisztina. Adorable little birds. The subtle scroll patterns you've been adding to the body (and the squirrels tail... terrific teeth by the way!) are a lovely touch. It'd be nice to see you run with that and experiment with further 'hidden' patterns... oak leaf and acorn in the squirrel perhaps...? :). I also love the bauble birds from the previous post, an inspired christmas design! Happy Holidays!!! Ps. you're right about Finding Nemo... when you try to design sea creatures you first have to shake that film out of your head, great as it is! PPS. Just saw Where the Wild Things Are last night... think you'd love it (the visuals remind me of your watercolour texture and palette)... though perhaps not a film for your little girls!
hi Matt, thanks for the tip. I'm going to experiment with patterns on the next book project's characters - squirrel and chicken were just sudden ideas for IF. also thank you for movie tip, we'll must see the film!! (without children..) wish you all the best for Lion's project!
